The following American Red Cross blood drives are open to the public:


Noon to 5 p.m., Buckfield High School, Buckfield


8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fire Station, Cape Elizabeth

1 to 6 p.m., American Legion, Rockland


8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Town Hall, Berwick


1 to 6 p.m., American Red Cross Chapter, Topsham

2 to 7 p.m., Sokokis Function Hall, Limerick


10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Seacoast Career School, Sanford

March 31

1 to 7 p.m., University of New England, Biddeford


The Portland Donor Center, 524 Forest Ave., is open noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays of each month,

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, except holidays; and noon to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Blood donated through the American Red Cross can be sent to patients at medical centers throughout New England. Platelet donors also are needed, with donations by appointment.
