Maine Maple Weekend continues today as sugarhouses around the state open their doors for what has become a rite of spring.
The annual event celebrates all things maple, from syrup samplings to sap boiling demonstrations to mouthwatering pancake breakfasts, such as the one pictured here at Cole Farm in Dayton on Saturday. The farm offered tours and sampling of syrup and other treats a day early.
