3/22 at 1:56 p.m. James Price, 25, of Portland, was arrested by Officer Melissa Savage, on charges of violation of the conditions of release and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug (heroin).

3/22 at 5:45 p.m. Chelsea Fortier, 19, of Jay, was arrested by Officer Eric Lippincott at Wal-Mart on a charge of unauthorized taking or transfer.

3/22 at 5:45 p.m. Tyler Gray, 20, of Jay, was arrested by Officer Eric Lippincott at Wal-Mart on a charge of unauthorized taking or transfer.

3/23 at 3:05 a.m. James Moores, 22, of Portland, was arrested by Officer Michael Beeler on charges of operating after a license was suspended or revoked and a warrant arrest.

3/23 at 6:47 a.m. Jesse Reynolds, 29, of Westbrook, was arrested by Officer Garret Strout on a charge of operating after a license was suspended or revoked.

3/23 at 3:21 p.m. A 17-year-old was arrested by Officer Scott Vaughan at Cabelas on a charge of unauthorized taking or transfer.

3/24 at 11:11 a.m. Casey Wilson, 24, of Gorham, was arrested Officer Timothy Barker at Big 20 Bowling on a charge of violating bail conditions of release.

3/25 at 1:08 a.m. Jennifer Fortier, 41, of Two Rod Road, was arrested by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of operating under the influence.

3/25 at 8:14 p.m. John Cloutier, 49, of Old Orchard Beach, was arrested by Officer Michael Sawyer on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

3/26 at 4:19 a.m. David Lestage, 39, of Biddeford, was arrested by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of operating after a license was suspended or revoked.

3/26 at 2:05 p.m. David Parker, 40, of Peaks Island, was arrested at Portland Volvo by Officer Melissa Savage on charges of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug (Oxycodone), failure to provide a correct name, address, date of birth, refusing to submit to arrest, and refusing to stop for an officer.

3/26 at 9:45 p.m. Wayneworth Walcott, 33, of Mount Vernon, N.Y., was arrested by Officer Brian Nappi on charges of operating after a license was suspended or revoked and a warrant arrest for another agency.

3/28 at 9:52 a.m. Michele Sanborn, 33, of Biddeford, was arrested by Officer Melissa Savage on a charge of operating after a license was suspended or revoked.

3/28 at 11:47 a.m. Michael Thompson, 22, of Green Needle Drive, was arrested by Officer Robert Moore on 12 charges of burglary of a motor vehicle and one charge of theft by receiving stolen property.

3/28 at 6:50 p.m. Colin  Huff, 20, of Alfred, was arrested by Officer Timothy Dalton on charges of violation of the conditions of release, possession of a usable amount of marijuana, and the sale or use of drug paraphernalia.

3/28 at 8:51 p.m. Chad Lizotte, 27, of Saco, was arrested by Officer Timothy Dalton on a warrant arrest for another agency.

3/24 at 8:14 p.m. Stephen Bubar, 51, of Old Orchard Beach, was summonsed by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on a charge of operating under the influence.

3/25 at 2:14 p.m. Ernest Howard, 59, of South Portland, was summonsed by Sgt. Steven Thibodeau on a charge of operating after a license was suspended or revoked.

3/27 at 1:33 p.m. James Apperti, 64, of Gorham, was summonsed on charges of operating after a license was suspended or revoked and illegal attachment of plates.

3/28 at 3:06 a.m. Zeferino Huicochea-Rios, 42, of Michigan, was summonsed on a charge of operating without a license.

Needles and knives

3/22 at 1:56 p.m. Police pulled over a vehicle for an expired registration and discovered that the driver was reportedly out on bail conditions. They searched his vehicle and allegedly discovered a folding knife in the center compartment and a hypodermic needle in a sock in the trunk. The needle tested positive for heroin. James Price, 25, of Portland, was arrested on charges of possession of a scheduled drug and violation of bail conditions.

Tube-sock weaponry

3/25 at 8:14 p.m. Police reportedly clocked a car going 100 mph on Route 1 and pursued the vehicle. They found the vehicle parked at Dunstan School Restaurant. The registered owner, John Cloutier, 49, of Old Orchard Beach, allegedly claimed someone else had been driving, but had run off into the woods when police arrived. A search of the vehicle found a tube sock filled with eight interlocked padlocks, and Cloutier was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Don’t Tase me, bro!

3/26 at 2:05 p.m. Police responded to Budget Rental Car on Route 1 for a man fitting the description of a teletype from the Portland Police. When police approached, the man reportedly gave a false name and address, and ran across Route 1 to Portland Volvo. Police chased him on foot and cornered him. When threatened with a Taser, he submitted to arrest. David Parker, 39, of Peaks Island, allegedly told police if they had threatened him with a gun, he would not have stopped, but that he had been Tased before and never wanted to experience that again. He was reportedly found to have a hypodermic needle in his pocket containing small amounts of an opiate Parker allegedly admitted was Oxycodone. He was charged with possession, as well as failure to submit to arrest, and providing a false name to police.

Man charged with car burglary spree

3/28 at 11:47 a.m. Police arrested a man for a string of 12 car burglaries near the Wentworth Intermediate School campus and surrounding businesses. Michael Thompson, 22, was allegedly staying with his foster family on Green Needle Drive when he broke into a dozen cars and stole iPods, cameras, electronics, cash and purses. Police believe drugs were a motivating factor in the thefts. Thompson allegedly broke several car windows to steal items in plain sight, and removed some items from unlocked vehicles. He has been charged with 12 counts of burglary of a motor vehicle and one charge of theft by receiving stolen property.
