ST. JOSEPH’S SWEEPS HUSSON: Pat Moran drove in six runs in the second game as the Monks (11-7) completed a sweep against the Eagles (11-12) at Bangor, winning 8-2 and 11-1.

Moran hit a grand slam in the second game and Craig Woodbrey added a three-run homer for the Monks, who scored all their runs in the first two innings.

In the opener, Todd Keneborus hit a two-run homer and an RBI single, and Mike Burdin smacked an RBI triple.

BATES 4, UM-FARMINGTON 1: Jacob Simon’s three-run homer in the 10th inning lifted the Bobcats (9-3) to a victory over the Beavers (0-7) at Lewiston.

SOUTHERN MAINE C.C. 4, ST. JOSEPH’S JVs 1: Montana Colby had an RBI double in the sixth inning as the Seawolves (12-11) took advantage of eight errors to earn a victory at South Portland.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE

UNE 22, SALVE REGINA 12: Danielle Cate set a school record with nine goals as the Nor’easters (5-1, 4-0 Commonwealth Coast) routed the Seahawks (1-5, 0-3) at Biddeford.

Mallory Long added five goals and Jenna Barton had three for UNE.

MEN’S LACROSSE

SALVE REGINA 13, UNE 6: Chris Walker scored five goals as the Seahawks (6-5, 3-2 Commonwealth Coast) beat the Nor’easters (4-5, 1-3) at Biddeford.

Michael Wood, Tyler Thomas, Joe McCarthy, Steven Beem, Matt Anderson and Nick Wilson each had a goal for UNE.
