The Maine State Employees Association announced today that it has hired Chris Quint as executive director.
Quint, 33, of Biddeford, currently works for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. He succeeds Tim Belcher, who left last fall to take a job at a Boston law firm.
The union represents more than 15,000 public and private sector workers in Maine. Quint is a native of Aroostook County and graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 1998.
