ROCKLAND — A grand jury has handed down indictments against three people accused in a conspiracy to lure an 18-year-old woman to an apartment, where she was attacked.

Two women were previously charged with kidnapping: 31-year-old Felicity Butler of Rockland and 27-year-old Jessica Gagnon of Thomaston. Also indicted this week was 26-year-old Zachary M. Clarke of Rockland, who’s charged with tampering with a witness, terrorizing and violating conditions of release.

Police say the two women invited the victim to an apartment for drinks on Dec. 5, then attacked her and drove her to another location, where she was held against her will. The Bangor Daily News says the victim told police that the women took her cell phone, so she couldn’t call for help.
