FARMINGTON — Bates rallied from a 3-1 deficit to beat the University of Maine at Farmington 13-3 Monday in the first game of a college softball doubleheader.

The Bobcats (4-16) completed the sweep, getting three RBI each from Leah Maciejewski and Libby King for a 15-6 win against the Beavers (4-10).

Bates scored five runs in the fifth inning of the opener to take a 6-3 lead. Monica Berube had two hits and three RBI for the Bobcats, who had 15 hits.

Kristen Finn pitched a nine-hitter with four strikeouts.
