Nate Johnson, Windham senior: Looking to improve on Round of 16 showing from last year. Ranked No. 1 in Maine among boys 17-18.

Adam Levesque, Mt. Ararat junior: Half of a team that won the KVAC doubles championship. Assumes top singles spot from three-time state champ Mike Hill.

Patrick Ordway, Waynflete freshman: Ranked as high as sixth in New England among 14-year-old boys. Will open season at No. 2 singles.

Nick Polko, Falmouth senior: Returns at No. 1 singles for Western Class B finalists. Reached Round of 32 before falling to fourth seed.

Ben Robinson, Yarmouth senior: Moves into top singles spot for defending Class B state champions.

Adam Saltz, Scarborough senior: Returns at No. 1 singles for Western Class A finalist, which finished 12-3 and earned second seed.

Brandon Thompson, Waynflete junior: Semifinalist as a freshman and a finalist as a sophomore, Thompson is favored in this year’s singles tournament.

Devin Van Dyke, Waynflete senior: Advanced to the singles quarterfinals as the fifth seed while playing No. 2 for the two-time defending Class C champions.

GIRLS

Emma Blakely, Camden Hills sophomore: Reached Round of 16 as a freshman. Played No. 1 for team that reached Eastern Class B semifinals.

Annie Criscione, Falmouth sophomore: The only singles semifinalist returning this spring. Will continue at No. 1 for Class B state champions.

Addie Devine, McAuley sophomore: Returns at No. 1 for Western Class A semifinalist. Reached Round of 32.

Natalie Egbert, Gorham junior: Reached Round of 16 while playing No. 2 singles for Western Class A finalist.

Thu-Trang Ho, North Yarmouth Academy senior: Reached Round of 16 before losing three-setter to Annalise Kump. Has led NYA to three straight Class C titles.

Analise Kump, Falmouth sophomore: Singles quarterfinalist and eighth overall seed. Ranked among the top 50 in New England girls 16 age group.

Elena Mandzhukova, Brunswick senior: Talented exchange student from Portugal who grew up in Bulgaria, a possible singles finalist.

Hannah Potter, Yarmouth sophomore: Returns at No. 1 singles for Yarmouth. Reached Round of 32 before falling to fifth-seeded Annie Criscione.

Hannah Shorty, Gorham senior: Reached Round of 32 while playing No. 1 singles for Western Class A finalist.

Kaitlynn Thompson, Waynflete freshman: Hard-hitting sister of singles state finalist Brandon Thompson, she inherits the slot relinquished by three-time state champ Christine Ordway.
