Portland police are investigating a stabbing that happened on Bishop Street just before 1 a.m. this morning.
Police say a woman was dropped off at Maine Medical Center with an abdominal wound.
Detectives are investigating the case but police have not released any additional details.
The injury was not expected to be life-threatening.
