STANDISH – Mariah Harrison hit an RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning Friday to give Bonny Eagle a 1-0 win over Kennebunk in an SMAA softball game.

Harrison, a freshman who was added to the roster before the game, drove in Whitney Porter. Porter hit a leadoff triple but was held at third three times, on an infield single and two groundouts, before the winning hit.

Hannah Goodale struck out 15 and worked out of several jams to earn the win. Connie Grovo and Brooke Van Rosendael each had two hits for Bonny Eagle (1-2).

Kelly King struck out 12 and Alex Leonardi had two hits for Kennebunk (2-2).

MCAULEY 4, SANFORD 3: Sam Schildroth singled home Mary Redmond with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Lions (3-0) over the Redskins (1-3) at Portland.

McAuley broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the fifth on an inside-the-park homer by Allina Verrillo, an RBI triple by Gabby Townsend and an RBI single by Shelby Bryant.

Sanford tied it in the top of the seventh on a three-run inside-the-park homer by Jordan Brasier.

McAuley pitcher Jen Field struck out seven and allowed eight hits.

CHEVERUS 5, DEERING 0: Theresa Hendrix had a single and a triple and struck out 10 while pitching a one-hitter as the Stags (2-2) blanked the Rams (1-3) at Cheverus.

Audrey Grinnell added a two-run homer, and Anna Snook and Jasmyn Welch finished with two hits apiece.

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, WESTBROOK 0: Alexis Bogdanovich struck out 11 while throwing a one-hitter as the Red Riots (4-0) downed the Blue Blazes (1-3) at South Portland.

Kahli Swiger had a pair of hits for the Red Riots, and Katlin Norton smacked a two-run triple.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 8, CAPE ELIZABETH 3: Cassie Wilson hit a two-run double, and Natalie Tombarelli had a single and a triple for the Patriots (3-0) in a win over the Capers (0-3) at Gray.

Laura Getchell allowed three unearned runs on three hits while striking out nine.

Gabe Donahue had a pair of singles for Cape Elizabeth.

SACOPEE VALLEY 7, POLAND 2: Brittney Sterling drove in a pair of runs and Whitney Stacey pitched a five-hitter to lead the Hawks (2-0) past the Knights (0-4) at Poland.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 16, WELLS 2: Maggie McConkey, Ashley Watkins and Kelsey Sheehan each had three hits to pace the Raiders (4-0) to a five-inning win over the Warriors (3-1) at Wells.

GEORGES VALLEY 18, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Danielle Frye pitched a one-hitter and the Buccaneers (2-0) collected 15 hits as they cruised past the Seahawks (0-3) at Boothbay Harbor.

Jessie Veilleux tripled for Georges Valley, and Kennadi Grover had a double.

The lone hit for the Seahawks was a single by Allison Crocker.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 12, LEAVITT 0: Kayla Santheson struck out 11 while pitching a two-hitter, and hit a single and a triple to lead the Panthers (3-1) past the Hornets (1-3) at Turner.

Lindsey Ranquist and Jessica Koon each had two hits for Medomak Valley, and Heidi Obuchon drove in a pair of runs.


NYA 7, WAYNFLETE 6: Courtney Dumont finished with three goals and three assists, and Lilly Wellenbach added two goals and two assists as the Panthers (2-1) held off the Flyers (1-1) at Yarmouth.

Morgan Woodhouse led Waynflete with three goals. Scout Haffenreffer scored twice.

Ashley Salerno finished with 11 saves for NYA.

YARMOUTH 11, GREELY 7: Danielle Torres scored four goals and Devin Simsarian added three as the Clippers (3-0) defeated the Rangers (0-2) at Cumberland.

Kelly Burrell had four goals, and Melanie Howland chipped in two goals and an assist for Greely, which led 5-4 at halftime.

WINDHAM 3, WESTBROOK 2: Natalie Harkins scored the only goal of the second half as the Eagles (1-0-1) edged the visiting Blue Blazes (0-2).

Sam Gifford and Sam Clapp had first-half goals for Windham, and Jackie Lorenzen made five saves. Gifford also assisted on the winning goal.

Tori Winton had both goals and Lizzy Conley stopped 12 shots for Westbrook.

MARSHWOOD 14, BONNY EAGLE 7: Erica Sedler scored six goals and Natasha Chabot added five for the Hawks (2-0) against the Scots (1-1) at South Berwick.

Emma Collins scored the other three goals for Marshwood, which used an 8-2 run in the second half to pull away. Meghan Lewis made 14 saves.

Kate Boyer led Bonny Eagle with five goals.

CHEVERUS 15, MCAULEY 7: Emily Van Duzer scored nine goals as the Stags (1-1) cruised past the visiting Lions (0-2).

Grace Fitzpatrick added three goals and two assists, and Katie Haley made 10 saves to earn the win.

Sam Paglia led McAuley with a pair of goals. Olivia Porch finished with 12 saves.

CAPE ELIZABETH 15, WELLS 7: Karyn Barrett scored five goals to lead the Capers (2-1) past the Warriors (2-2) at Cape Elizabeth.

Talley Perkins added four goals, and Anna Darling chipped in with two goals and an assist.

Lily Colley scored six goals for Wells.

KENNEBUNK 15, DEERING 4: Camille Auger scored six goals and Brooke Worcester added three as Kennebunk (1-1) downed Deering (0-1-1) at Portland.

Maddie Burns scored a pair of goals for Deering, and Julie Pallozzi finished with 18 saves.

Kennebunk goalie Kelly Renk stopped nine shots.

SANFORD 17, NOBLE 3: Haley Nordmann had four goals and an assist, and Sarah Alexandre and Karissa Steltzer each contributed three goals and two assists as the Redskins (1-1) beat the Knights (0-2) at Sanford.

Krystal Walsh added two goals and Kim Vogel made five saves for Sanford.

Kelsey Goss had two goals, Stephanie Ruger also scored and China Page stopped 22 shots for Noble.

GARDINER 8, CAMDEN HILLS 4: Alecia Griffin had a two-run single in a five-run seventh to help the Tigers (3-1) rally past the Windjammers (2-2) at Rockport.

Hannah Lawrence added an RBI single during the winning rally.

Camden Hills scored four runs in the sixth to erase a 3-0 deficit.

WINSLOW 14, ROCKLAND 1: Kristen Loubier had two triples, a single and three RBI as the Black Raiders (2-2) cruised past the Tigers (0-4) in Winslow.

Rachel Hall added two singles and two RBI, and Allison Leclair had a double and two RBI. Julie Riordan allowed one run on four hits while striking out six and walking three.
