Forty-five Maine soldiers departed Saco this morning for a one-year tour of duty in Iraq.
The Army Reserve soldiers are part of Detachment 1 of the 94th Military Police.
The Maine soldiers will meet up later with the rest of the company in Manchester, N.H.
