A suspect in the burglary of the Dunkin’ Donuts on Maine Street in Brunswick springs off the counter early Wednesday, May 5. Police are searching for the man, who was videotaped by the store’s security cameras after tripping a burglary alarm. Police believe the man, possibly with the help of another suspect, entered through the store’s rooftop ventilation system at approximately 2:30 a.m. and fled after the alarm went off. A Yarmouth Police Department K-9 team was dispatched, but was unable to find the suspects in the immediate area. Police said the total loss was unknown, but the store did sustain damage. Police described the suspect as a white man, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, of slender build and wearing blue jeans, work boots and a dark sweatshirt. Police did not provide a description of the second suspect. Information about the suspects should be provided to Detective Sgt. Martin Rinaldi or Detective Bill Moir at 725-5521.
