BIDDEFORD – Molly Lortie drove in the go-ahead runs in the seventh inning as Gorham handed Biddeford its first loss with a 6-3 victory in an SMAA softball game Wednesday.

Lortie finished with two doubles, three runs scored and two RBI, and Taylor Hansen struck out seven while pitching an eight-hitter for the Rams (1-4).

The Tigers (5-1) were led by Katlyn Lebreux with three hits, including a double, and two runs scored.

CHEVERUS 12, WINDHAM 0: Theresa Hendrix pitched a one-hitter, had three hits with three RBI and scored four runs for the Stags (4-2) against the visiting Eagles (1-5) at Portland.

GREELY 9, FALMOUTH 0: Mary Zambello pitched a no-hitter with four strikeouts for the Rangers (5-0) against the Yachtsmen (2-3) at Falmouth.

Danielle Cimino, Bryce McEwen and Marika Stayte each had two RBI.

GEORGES VALLEY 13, LISBON 1: Danielle Frye struck out five while allowing one hit in five innings and had two hits and two RBI to lead the Buccaneers (4-0) past the Greyhounds (4-1) in six innings at Thomaston.

CAPE ELIZABETH 12, LAKE REGION 6: Lexi Cantara hit a three-run homer to tie the game at 5-5 in the fifth inning, and the Capers (1-4) took advantage of five walks to score seven in the sixth as they put away the Lakers (2-4) at Naples.

Meghan Craffey hit an RBI triple for Lake Region.

SOUTH PORTLAND 14, NOBLE 0: Alexis Bogdanovich threw a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk and also hit a triple to lead the Red Riots (6-0) past the Knights (1-5) in five innings at South Portland.

YORK 22, POLAND 3: Chelsea Hutchings hit for the cycle and drove in eight runs, leading the Wildcats (3-2) over the Knights (0-6) at York.

MARSHWOOD 7, PORTLAND 6: Abby Rovnak singled home Jill Riendeau as the visiting Hawks (3-3) scored twice in the eighth inning to beat the Bulldogs (0-6).

Chelsea Watson had four hits for Marshwood.

Sam Gee, who had three RBI, singled in a run in the bottom of the eighth for Portland.

BONNY EAGLE 4, WESTBROOK 3: Hannah Goodale pitched a one-hitter with one walk and seven strikeouts, and Connie Grovo scored two runs and drove in one to lead the Scots (2-3) past the Blue Blazes (1-5) at Standish.

The Scots tied the game in the fifth when Goodale scored on a triple by Grovo and won it on an RBI single by Julia Boucher.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 9, YARMOUTH 0: Maggie Chaplin had two hits and three RBI to lead the Patriots (5-0) past the Clippers (3-3) at Gray.

Laura Getchell pitched a five-hitter with 14 strikeouts, including three with the bases loaded in the fourth.

MCAULEY 13, DEERING 1: Shelby Bryant hit a three-run homer in an eight-run fourth inning as the Lions (4-1) beat the visiting Rams (2-4) in five innings at Portland.

KENNEBUNK 11, SANFORD 2: Kelly King knocked in four runs on four hits while Jannelle Bouchard knocked in three runs on three hits to lead the Rams (4-2) over the Redskins (1-4) at Sanford.

SCARBOROUGH 12, MASSABESIC 0: Mo Hannan pitched a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and hit a two-run homer as the Red Storm (6-0) defeated the Mustangs (2-3) in five innings at Scarborough.

FREEPORT 8, SACOPEE VALLEY 7: Jessica Kane’s RBI single capped a four-run rally in the seventh inning that lifted the Falcons (1-5) past the Hawks (3-1) at Freeport.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 6, WELLS 4: Winning pitcher Charlotte Lewis struck out six and had two doubles, and Ashley Watkins added an RBI triple for the Raiders (7-0), who scored five runs in the sixth inning to rally past the Warriors (4-2) at Fryeburg.

SOUTH PORTLAND 14, MCAULEY 6: Kate Lagios and Nikki Laplante each had four goals as the Red Riots (1-1) handled the Lions (0-3) at Portland.

YORK 13, WELLS 7: Mackie Hill and Ashley Taylor each had three goals as the Wildcats (4-1) beat the Warriors (2-3) at Wells.
