WINDHAM – Justin Salls was 3 for 3 with a double, a run and an RBI, helping Sanford to a 6-5 victory against Windham in a Telegram League baseball game Friday.

Salls helped Sanford open a 6-1 lead.

A two-run homer by Cody Laberge highlighted a four-run sixth inning for Windham, but Robbie Dudzisz came on to retire the final four batters for the save, allowing one hit and striking out two.

CHEVERUS 10, NOBLE 2: Louie DiStasio allowed four hits and one earned run over six innings as the Stags (6-0) beat the Knights (0-6) at Portland.

DiStasio walked two and struck out eight.

Tom Webber, Joey Royer and A.J. Bennett each had two hits and drove in two. Webber had a double during a five-run fifth inning.

Tyler Flaherty added an RBI single for Cheverus. Brendon Reil had two singles and scored twice for Noble.

CAPE ELIZABETH 13, POLAND 2: Cam Brown, Kyle Piscopo and Will Pierce collected multiple hits to lead the Capers (7-0) past the Knights (1-6) at Poland.

Pierce gave up one run in six innings to earn the win.

Devin Goyette had two hits for Poland, including a home run.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 8, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4: Taylor Valente struck out 10 in six innings to lead the Patriots (1-6) past the Raiders (2-5) at Gray.

Jesse Ordway had three singles and a double, and Ryan Blenk added a two-run double.

Conor Tweedie had three singles and two RBI for Fryeburg.

YORK 19, WELLS 6: Pat Murphy drove in four late-inning runs with two homers for the Wildcats (5-0) against the Warriors (2-6) at Wells.

Murphy and Chris Cole went back-to-back in the sixth inning, then Aaron Moran hit another two batters later.

Aaron Todd earned the win, allowing one earned run in three innings of relief. He struck out four and gave two hits and two walks.

Wells led 5-3 until York took command with a five-run fifth, including Dylan Merritt’s two-run double. York added three runs in the sixth and eight in the seventh.

FALMOUTH 8, LAKE REGION 2: Joe Barnes had three hits and two runs for the Yachtsmen (5-1), who scored six unanswered runs to pull away from the Lakers (2-4) at Naples.

Mitch Beaulieu gave up two runs on nine hits for Falmouth.

Josh Robbins hit an RBI single for Lake Region.

MESSALONSKEE 5, MORSE 1: Nate Veilleux allowed one unearned run as the Eagles (5-2) beat the Shipbuilders (0-6) at Oakland.

Veilleux struck out 10, walked three and gave up two hits. The Eagles took advantage of 12 walks and two hit batters to score five times despite getting only two hits.

Veilleux and Sam Dexter each had an RBI single.

BOOTHBAY 8, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 4: Joe Hersom had two doubles as the Seahawks (1-5) beat the Mustangs (0-5) at Monmouth.

Ryan Murphy added two singles for Boothbay.

Jeremy Ashlock had two singles for Monmouth.

ST. DOMINIC 11, WINTHROP 1: The Saints (4-2) scored nine runs in the fifth inning to end the game against Winthrop (2-1) at Auburn.

Jacob Ward was Winthrop’s lone repeat hitter, with two singles.

ROCKLAND 3, MT. VIEW 0: Luke Morrill pitched a one-hitter as the Tigers (2-4) beat the Mustangs (1-5) at Thorndike.

Morrill struck out nine and walked three.

OAK HILL 7, BELFAST 4: Craig Morrill had a two-out, two-run single in the third inning as the Raiders (2-4) took the lead and held off Belfast (3-3) at Wales.

Cody Plourde added two doubles, two singles and two RBI for the Raiders.

BANGOR 4, CONY 2: Joe Stanevicz hit a two-run single and pitched 51/3 innings to pick up the win as Bangor (8-0) defeated visiting Cony (5-1).

LACROSSE

YORK 6, WELLS 5: Joel Berger scored three goals to lead the Wildcats (3-2) past the Warriors (1-2) at York.

Dillon DellaPasqua, Kyle Robinson and Conor O’Brien each added a goal for York.

Travis Sheller scored twice for Wells.
