FALMOUTH – Will Sipperly scored two goals, including the winner, to lead Falmouth to a 4-3 victory against Scarborough in a schoolboy lacrosse game Saturday.

Falmouth (3-1) had a 3-1 lead early in the second half, but Scarborough (3-3) made it 3-3 when John Blaisdell scored late in the third quarter.

John Wheeler had the other two goals for the Red Storm.

PORTLAND 12, LEWISTON 10: Caleb Kenney had four goals and five assists for the Bulldogs (6-0) against the Blue Devils (2-3) at Lewiston.

Portland overcame a 7-2 deficit, making it 10-10 with four minutes remaining. After being down 10-7 late in the third quarter, Portland scored five unanswered goals.

Jason Knight of the Bulldogs made it 10-10.

Ryan Lemelin had three goals and two assists, and Sam Cloutier added three goals and one assist for Lewiston.

MT. ARARAT 11, NOBLE 1: Dylan Smith scored three times for the Eagles (5-2) against the Knights (0-8) at North Berwick.

Will Bouchard added two goals for Mt. Ararat.

Jesse Cotty scored for Noble.

WAYNFLETE 12, WESTBROOK 0: Chris Burke had six goals and two assists to lead the Flyers (3-2) past the Blue Blazes (0-6) at Portland.

Up 4-0 at the half, Waynflete scored five straight after a Westbrook goal to make it 9-1.

Zander Majercik added five goals and Josiah Baker-Connick had four assists for the Flyers.

Brian Stiles scored twice for Westbrook.

YARMOUTH 13, BRUNSWICK 6: Evan Henry had five goals and three assists to pace the Clippers (5-0) against Brunswick (3-1) at Yarmouth.

Steven Petrovek and Matt Murphy each scored twice for Yarmouth. Nick Kressbach had three goals for the Dragons.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

FREEPORT 12, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Lucy Whitacre and Shelby Colvin each scored four times to lead the Falcons (2-4) past the Windjammers (0-5) at Rockport.

Katie McHenry scored for Camden Hills.

FALMOUTH 8, MASSABESIC 7: Megan Fortier scored two goals, including the eventual winner, for the Yachtsmen (4-1) against the Mustangs (3-1) at Falmouth.

Laura Fay and Meredith Quirk each added a pair of goals for Falmouth.

SCARBOROUGH 13, YARMOUTH 9: Lindsay Hagerman had three goals and three assists to lead the Red Storm (4-0) over the Clippers (4-2) at Yarmouth.

Ellie Morin also scored for the Red Storm. Devin Simsarian had three goals for Yarmouth.

GORHAM 12, BONNY EAGLE 1: Freshman Damon Wallace allowed a run on six hits and struck out three for his first win as the Rams (2-4) downed the Scots (4-2) in five innings at Standish.

Kyle Butterfield was 2 for 4 with four RBI, and Zach Speirs was 2 for 3 with two RBI for Gorham. Wallace added a double, a run and an RBI.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Christopher Leblanc had two singles, a double and three RBI to lead the Panthers (4-0) over the Hawks (0-6) at Yarmouth.

Dean Darian struck out 10 and gave up four hits in six innings for NYA. He also had two singles, two runs and two RBI.

YARMOUTH 11, POLAND 0: Aidan Sullivan pitched a three-hitter as the Clippers (7-0) beat the Knights (1-6) in five innings at Poland.
