SOUTH BERWICK – Danielle Torres scored five goals Saturday to lead Yarmouth to a 16-5 victory against Marshwood in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Rebecca Bell added two goals and an assist for Yarmouth (6-2), which scored the first 10 goals.

Natasha Chabot had three goals and an assist for Marshwood (3-5).

 

PORTLAND 13, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Nancy McAdam scored four goals for the Bulldogs (5-3) against the Windjammers (0-7) at Portland.

Rachel Allen added a pair of goals, and Carly McQuinn and Malinka Jankowski each scored one for Portland.

THORNTON ACADEMY 12, BONNY EAGLE 7: Alanna Richard and Jackie Costello had three goals each for the Golden Trojans (5-1), who took an 8-3 halftime lead and held off the Scots (1-6) at Saco.

Richard added two assists, and Erin Kany had a goal and three assists for Thornton.

Samantha Campobasso scored three goals for Bonny Eagle.

WAYNFLETE 14, CHEVERUS 4: Amy Allen scored six goals to lead the Flyers (6-1) against the Stags (5-3) at Portland.

Morgan Woodhouse added five goals and four assists for Waynflete, which outscored Cheverus 9-1 in the second half.

Grace Fitzpatrick scored twice for the Stags.

 

WINDHAM 12, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Kelsey McGowan scored four goals to lead the Eagles (4-2-1) over the Raiders (0-6) at Windham.

Sam Gifford added two goals and an assist for Windham, which took an 8-1 halftime lead.

Aslyn Dindorf scored twice for Fryeburg.

 

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 13, MESSALONSKEE 5: Courtney Dumont scored three goals, and Molly Strabley, Lilly Wellenbach and Katie Cawley finished with two apiece as the Panthers (6-2) downed the Eagles (2-5) at Oakland.

Strabley and Wellenbach also had an assist, and Kylie Dalbec added a goal and two assists for NYA.

Ali Omsberg scored twice for Messalonskee.

CONY 13, OXFORD HILLS 6: Kayla Vachon scored four goals to lead the Rams (5-1) past Oxford Hills (4-4) at South Paris.

Cassie Diplock and Macy Pagurko each added three goals and an assist, Michelle Bolduc and Chelsea Begin also scored, Mia Diplock added a goal and three assists, and Haley Lachance contributed an assist for Cony.

Ebony Merrill scored three goals and Heather Knight had two for Oxford Hills.

SOFTBALL

GREELY 9, SACOPEE VALLEY 2: Karlee Biskup had two hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Rangers (9-1), who scored seven runs in the final two innings to pull away from the Hawks (6-3) at South Hiram.

Emma Seymour also had two hits for Greely.

Chelsey Burnell drove in Sacopee’s runs with a two-run double in the third.
