CLINTON, N.Y. – Anne Graveley scored four goals as Hamilton, the top-ranked team in the nation, beat Colby 14-9 in an NCAA Division III women’s lacrosse quarterfinal on Sunday.

The Continentals improved to 20-0 and advanced to the NCAA semifinals for the third straight year.

Kathleen Kramer and Claire Donegan each had a pair of goals for Colby (15-5), and Amy Campbell added a goal and three assists.

BASEBALL

MAINE 4, ALBANY 2: A.J. Bazdanes and Matt Jebb combined on a two-hitter, and Pat Thibodeau doubled home the go-ahead run in the sixth inning as the Black Bears (30-20, 13-7 America East) rallied past the Great Danes (10-36, 9-12) at Orono.

Maine fell behind 2-0 in the top of the sixth, but Justin Leisenheimer tied it in the bottom half with a two-run homer. Matt Howard then reached on a single and scored on Thibodeau’s double.

Joey Martin added an RBI single in the seventh.

Bazdanes (6-4) pitched six innings, and Jebb got his first save of the season with three hitless innings.
