SOUTH PORTLAND — A 29-year-old man has been charged with domestic violence assault, threatening and obstructing the report of a crime, following a dispute on Robinson Street on Monday night.

Patrick Barry was arrested shortly after midnight, according to a press release issued by the South Portland Police Department.

The alleged victim, a 42-year-old female, came to police headquarters to make a complaint. Three officers responded to an address on Robinson Street.

According to the press release, Barry was agitated and took a fighting stance when the officers arrived, but submitted to arrest when one of the officers aimed a Taser stun gun at him.
