PORTLAND — Bangor Theological Seminary will hold its 191st commencement at 1 p.m. Friday at its Portland campus at State Street Church.

The seminary will award a total of 40 masters and doctoral degrees in divinity, ministry and arts.

The keynote speaker will be Phyllis Tickle, a noted author and lecturer on Christian thems.  Her address is entitled, “A Harmony in Two Parts.”  Bangor Theological Seminary, founded in 1814, is the 3rd oldest seminary in the United States.
