AUGUSTA — With 11 days left before Maine’s primaries, candidates for governor were filing their reports showing details of donations and spending to state officials.

Three of the candidates – Republicans Steve Abbott, Matt Jacobson and Paul LePage – had filed reports with the state Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices by this afternoon. The filing deadline is 11:59 p.m. tonight.

Abbott reported contributions of nearly $432,000, LePage $276,000 and Jacobson $164,000.

Democrat Steve Rowe reported $480,000 in contributions and $441,000 spent.

Of the seven Republicans and four Democrats competing in their parties’ primaries, three have qualified for public campaign financing.
