CAPE ELIZABETH — Cape Elizabeth scored four times in the fourth inning Friday on the way to a 5-1 victory over Wells in a Western Maine Conference softball game.

Abby Flynn sparked the rally with an RBI double for the Capers (8-7), who won their fourth game in a row. Ally Boyington threw a three-hitter with one strikeout and one walk.

Abby Fenstermaker doubled and scored the run for the Warriors (8-6).

LISBON 17, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Brooke Lawrence hit a home run and Kimberly Morse struck out nine as the Greyhounds (12-4) cruised past the Seahawks (1-14) at Boothbay.

SCARBOROUGH 9, KENNEBUNK 1: Erin Giles hit a three-run homer in the first inning to get Scarborough (14-1) started in a win over the Rams (12-3) at Kennebunk.

Giles also singled and had a sacrifice fly.

Mo Hannan pitched a four-hitter with 14 strikeouts and one walk. She also had a two-run homer in the seventh inning.

THORNTON ACADEMY 12, DEERING 1: Chrissy Remmes and Julia Geaumont each had three hits and drove in two runs to lead the Trojans (11-4) past the Rams (6-9) at Portland.

Geaumont also pitched a five-hitter and struck out eight to earn the win.

Nicole Mason had two hits for Deering.

MCAULEY 15, PORTLAND 0: Sam Schildroth had three triples among five hits and drove in five runs to lead the Lions (11-4) past the visiting Bulldogs (1-14) at Portland.

Jen Field tossed a three-hitter for the win, with Leanne Reichert getting two of Portland’s hits.

FREEPORT 12, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Leigh Wyman struck out nine, walked none and held Old Orchard Beach (3-12) to four hits at Freeport (4-11).

Jess Kane was 3 for 4 with three RBI, Whitney Bibeau had a double and three RBI, and Stephanie Pottle was 3 for 3 with two RBI.

NOBLE 5, MARSHWOOD 1: Becca Osborne hit a two-run double in the fourth inning to give Noble (5-10) a 4-0 lead on the way to a win over Marshwood (4-11) at North Berwick.

Shawnee Slattery struck out two, walked three and scattered six hits to earn the win. She also had an RBI single.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER SWEEPS TRAIP ACADEMY: Rachel Edson had four hits and scored four runs, and Sammy Wilkins added three hits, three runs and two RBI to lead the Patriots (13-2) to a 16-0 win over the Rangers (0-15) in the opening game at Kittery.

The Patriots completed the sweep with a 14-2 win behind a four-hitter from Maggie Chaplin.

Kelly Sanborn had two hits, including a two-run double.

Laura Getchell pitched a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts in the opener.

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, BONNY EAGLE 0: Amanda Linscott was 2 for 4 with a double, two runs and two RBI, and Danielle DiBiase drove in three runs to help the Red Riots (14-1) beat the Scots (7-8) at Standish.

Alexis Bogdanovich allowed five hits in six innings, striking out nine and walking none.

Kaitlin Norton hit a solo home run.

Hannah Goodale struck out six for Bonny Eagle.

GEORGES VALLEY 8, WINTHROP 1: Rachel Frye struck out 12 and improved to 12-0, leading Georges Valley (14-0) over Winthrop (3-11) at Thomaston.

Jesse Veilleux had a three-run homer and three singles for the Buccaneers.

WESTBROOK 7, MASSABESIC 1: Karleigh Gaudreau drove in three runs with a double in the fourth inning to help the Blue Blazes (3-12) pull away from Massabesic (3-12) at Westbrook.

Gaudreau also had a no-hitter through six innings before giving up two hits in the seventh. She had a season-high 11 strikeouts and allowed three walks.

The Mustangs’ run came on a throwing error in the fourth inning.

GORHAM 5, WINDHAM 0: Taylor Hanson struck out four, walked none and held the Eagles (2-13) to two hits as the Rams (3-10) won at Windham.

Lauren Chouinard hit a two-run double in the fourth to make it 4-0.

BIDDEFORD 6, SANFORD 4: Alyssa Baldino hit a three-run double in the third to help Biddeford (10-5) defeat the Redskins (8-7) at Sanford.

Heather Fecteau started the scoring with an RBI triple in the first. Sarah Gilblair issued no walks, struck out 13 and gave up seven hits.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 14, POLAND 1: Brylie Walker had three hits, including a homer, as Fryeburg Academy (15-1) downed the Knights (4-11) at Poland.

Ariel McConkey also had three hits, including a double, and Maggie McConkey doubled and singled.

SACOPEE VALLEY 6, FALMOUTH 3: Liz Moulton’s two-run double in the second inning started Sacopee Valley (8-7) on its way to a win over Falmouth (5-10) at South Hiram.

Callie Day also finished with two RBI, one on a fielder’s choice in the second and another on a base hit in the third.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 2, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Kayla Santheson pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks to lift the Panthers (12-3) over the Eagles (12-3) at Waldoboro.

Jessica Koon and Kasey Benner drove in one run apiece for Medomak Valley.

Lincoln Academy’s Amelia Pennington threw a seven-hitter.
