FALMOUTH – Mitch Tapley had three goals and two assists, and Dan Hanley added three goals and one assist Tuesday to lead Falmouth to a 15-2 victory against Freeport in a schoolboy lacrosse regular-season finale.

Eight players scored for the Yachtsmen (10-2) against the Falcons (8-4).

 

YARMOUTH 17, GREELY 4: Evan Henry and Colby Shields scored four goals each as the Clippers (11-1) downed Greely (5-6) at Yarmouth.

Steve Petrovek added three goals and two assists for the Clippers, who opened a 12-0 lead in the first half. Henry also had two assists and Shields provided one.

Austin Spencer scored twice for the Rangers.

WELLS 12, LAKE REGION 0: Travis Shelley scored three goals and Luke Darling made 12 saves to lead the Warriors (5-7) against Lake Region (0-11) at Wells.

Kyle Morton, Doug Darling and Nathan Chase each scored twice.

Brandon Barragan made 28 saves for the Lakers.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

MARSHWOOD 12, PORTLAND 11: Natasha Chabot had three goals and three assists to lead Marshwood (4-8) over Portland (7-5) at South Berwick.

Emma Collins added three goals and Erica Sedler scored two for the Hawks.

After Portland made it 10-10 with 8:17 left, Shelby Minnehan of Marshwood scored the go-ahead goal at 6:11 and Chabot made it 12-10 with 4:37 left.

Nancy McAdam, who scored five goals for the Bulldogs, including their last three, ended the scoring with 3:13 left. Marshwood then won the draw and never turned it over for the final 3:11.

 

WELLS 16, BIDDEFORD 5: Lily Colley scored six goals to lead Wells (6-6) over the Tigers (2-10) at Biddeford.

Maddie Andrews, Becca Colley, Jennie Li and Brenna Trefethen each scored twice for the Warriors. Jackie McCurry had two goals for Biddeford.

Stephanie Poirier made 13 saves for Biddeford.

 

BRUNSWICK 20, OXFORD HILLS 6: Anna Holmblad had four goals and three assists, and Maggie Caputi added four goals as Brunswick (10-2) dominated the Vikings (7-5) at South Paris.

Leila Mills contributed three goals and seven assists for the Dragons. Hannah Warren scored three times for Oxford Hills.

BASEBALL

BIDDEFORD 2, BONNY EAGLE 1: Trevor Fleurent gave up three hits, walked two and struck out five to lead the Tigers (9-7) over Bonny Eagle (10-6) at Biddeford.

Biddeford scored its runs in the first inning. Nick Gagne brought home Tyler Audie with a single and Tyler Parker scored on an error.

 

SCARBOROUGH 11, WINDHAM 1: Andrew Myers and Ben Wessel combined on a two-hitter, and Luke Bogdanovich drove in four runs as the Red Storm (12-4) handled the Eagles (9-7) in six innings at Scarborough.

Myers allowed one unearned run, one hit and one walk, and struck out three in four innings. Wessel gave up a hit and a walk, and struck out two.

 

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, GREELY 2: Rob MacDonald shut out Greely (10-6) through 51/3 innings to lead Cape Elizabeth (15-1) to a win at Old Orchard Beach.

MacDonald allowed three hits and struck out three.

SOFTBALL

SCARBOROUGH 11, DEERING 0: Melissa Dellatore struck out nine and allowed one hit over the first five innings, and the Red Storm (15-1) scored nine runs in the third against the Rams (6-10) at Scarborough.

Dellatore allowed an infield single in the fifth, Mo Hannan hit a three-run homer and Alana Peoples added a two-run blast in the third.
