Matt Jacobson has conceded.

The Republican candidate stepped to the podium at Binga’s Stadium at 10:19 p.m. to the cheers of about 40 suppporters.

“I think it is pretty clear we are not going to climb out of this hole,” he said.

He praised the people who worked on his campaign and urged them to stay in the game. He said he would do so himself.

“We might not win tonight but there are thousands of people who voted for us and our ideas. We made a difference. We got some people’s attention and that is pretty cool,” he said.
