A Tennessee man visiting Maine for a Baptist retreat was critically injured in a car crash in Standish.
A 2010 Tacoma driven by Paula Haddow of Standish crossed the center line of Ossippee Trail East and collided head on with a 2005 Hyundai driven by Marilyn McCleeden of South Portland, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. The crash happened at 2 p.m.
McCleeden was transporting four adult passengers from Tennessee who are in the state for the retreat.
The other three were not seriously hurt and Haddow declined medical treatment.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the cause of the crash.
