Construction work on a combined sewer overflow abatement project is expected to cause traffic delays today and Thursday at the intersection of Bernard Road and Washington Avenue in Portland.

Traffic delays are expected until 7 p.m. tonight and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

City officials say there will be limited access on Bernard Road and commuters should use Mona Road to access or exit the neighborhood.
