THE FALMOUTH ROTARY holds its second annual LobsterFest on the Maine State Pier off Commercial Street in Portland on Saturday. The festival benefits the Maine Children’s Cancer Program.

THE DAY’S EVENTS include a lobster dinner ($12.50), live music, a mechanical bull, and a drawing for a Webber Genesis S-310 grill (you’re automatically entered into the drawing when you buy a meal ticket). There will also be a number of food vendors and crafters.

Admission to LobsterFest is free.

THE EVENT BEGINS at 11 a.m. Music begins at noon. Performing between noon and 4 p.m. are Stream Reggae and Coos Canyon. Typhoon Ferri begins performing at 4:30 p.m.
