BANGOR — Academic reorganization at the Augusta campus will be among the items on the agenda when the University of Maine System Board of Trustees meets in Bangor.

The trustees are hearing an update today on the University of Maine System strategic investment fund, which was established as part of the New Challenges, New Directions initiative to achieve long-term financial sustainability.

Also on the agenda will be an interim academic reorganization at the Augusta campus, appointment of standing board committees, lease or acquisition of University of Southern Maine and University of Maine properties, and a new academic proposal at the Farmington campus.
