7/5 at 1:28 a.m. Jason Snow, 31, of Ash Swamp Road was arrested on Ash Swamp Road by Officer Melissa Savage on charges of gross sexual assault, violating bail conditions and violating a protective order.

7/5 at 11:19 p.m. John Kearns, 43, of South Portland, was arrested at Walmart by Officer Melissa Savage on charges of violating bail conditions and endangering the welfare of a child.

7/6 at 1:18 a.m. Jesse Westerman, 28, of Warren, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Timothy Dalton on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

7/8 at 3:15 p.m. A 16-year-old was arrested on Ezekiel Way by Officer Melissa Savage on a charge of assault.

7/8 at 8:11 p.m. Anthony Teabout, 40, of Biddeford, was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Michael Beller on a charge of violating bail conditions and on a warrant for another agency.

7/9 at 11:02 p.m. Eric Scott Perry, 36, of South Portland, was arrested on Pine Point Road by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/11 at 8:34 p.m. Chaoying Du, 50, of Gorham Road, was arrested on Gorham Road by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of domestic violence assault.

7/6 at 1:43 p.m. Paul Cram, 42, of Portland, was summonsed at Walmart by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on a charge of assault.

7/6 at 12:30 p.m. Steven Arnold, 22, of Gorham, was summonsed on Mussey Road by Officer Garrett Strout on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

7/6 at 10:53 p.m. Angela Moreau, 26, of Westbrook, was summonsed on Route 1 by Officer Andrew Flynn on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

7/10 3:50 p.m. Aaron Davis, 32, of Westbrook, was summonsed at Shaw’s Supermarket by Officer Andrew Flynn on charges of attempting to acquire drugs by deception and unlawful possession of a schedule W drug.

7/11 at 12:53 p.m. James Staples, 49, of Buxton, was summonsed on Holmes Road by Officer Scott Vaughan on a charge of attaching false plates.

Man arrested 3 times for violating protection order

7/5 at 1:28 p.m. A Scarborough man has been arrested three times in the past two weeks for violating a protection order and violating bail conditions. On July 5, Jason Snow, 31, was arrested on Ash Swamp Road and charged with of violating bail conditions and violating a protective order. A possible charge of gross sexual assault is being reviewed by the district attorney.

Snow was also arrested on June 29 on charges of tampering with a witness, violating a protective order and violating bail conditions. He was then arrested again on July 12 on charges of violating a protection order and bail conditions. He is being held without bail at the Cumberland County Jail.

Stealing ice

7/7 at 12:17 p.m. Police responded to a call from the Lighthouse Motel on Pine Point after the owner confronted a man who had pulled into the parking lot to fill buckets of ice using the motel’s ice machine. The man allegedly threatened the owner and grabbed him by the throat. The man then reportedly got into his car and drove away. Police have not yet located him

Doctor of deception

7/10 at 3:50 p.m. A pharmacist from Shaw’s Supermarket called police after receiving a suspicious phone call from someone allegedly claiming to be a doctor calling in a prescription for hydrocodone. When the man arrived to pick up the prescription, the pharmacy called the police again and he was reportedly arrested outside the store. Aaron Davis, 32, of Westbrook, was summonsed on charges of attempting to acquire drugs by deception and unlawful possession of a schedule W drug.

4-car accident at Anjon’s Restaurant

7/11 at 3:46 p.m. Police, fire and emergency crews responded to a four-car accident at Anjon’s Restaurant on Route 1 that caused at least $2,000 in damage to the building and resulted in multiple injuries.

The accident reportedly happened when a Chevy sedan traveling north crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming vehicle, forcing that vehicle into the Anjon’s parking lot. Two parked cars were struck during the crash and a Buick was forced into the side of the restaurant.

Several people were transported to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
