WESTBROOK – Zach Collett had four hits and three RBI to help Stockhouse (12-4) take 7-1 and 4-3 wins over Falmouth (8-8) in an American Legion Zone 4 baseball doubleheader on Saturday.

In the first game, Collett hit a two-run homer to get Stockhouse started. Tom Lemay added two RBI and Joe Dvilinsky pitched a complete game for the win.

Matt MacDowell had three hits for Falmouth.

In the second game, Stockhouse overcame a 3-2 deficit in the fifth when Sean Murphy doubled in Zach Gardiner, then scored on a wild pitch. Jake Gardiner pitched two scoreless innings for the save.

MASSABESIC SPLITS WITH RAMSDELL-ROGERS POST: Casey Nava had three hits, including a pair of triples, drove in three runs and scored twice to lead Massabesic to an 11-1, five-inning win over Ramsdell-Rogers Post in the opening game of a doubleheader at Waterboro.

Travis Mansfield added a three-run homer and a double for Massabesic (5-13) and Mike Guay threw an eight-hitter to earn the win.

York earned a split with an 8-1 win in the second game behind a three-run homer from Arran Maran and three singles from Benjamin Lawlor.

MORRILL POST SWEEPS MOODY’S: Jon Medici gave up five hits while striking out seven batters over six shutout innings and had a pair of hits, including a two-run double, to lead Morrill Post (11-5) to a 6-0 win over Moody’s (2-16) in the opening game of a doubleheader at South Portland.

Jon DiBiase and Ryan Curit each had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored to lead Morrill Post to a five-inning 11-1 win in the second game. Morrill Post starter Rob MacDonald pitched a five-hitter to earn the win.

OA-YARMOUTH, ANDREWS SPLIT: OA-Yarmouth (6-11) scored four in the second on the way to a 7-2 win in the opener, while Andrews Post (2-16) used a six-run second to take a 10-4 lead in the second game at Yarmouth.

Jordan Haskell launched a two-run homer and Aidan Sullivan added a two-run double for OA-Yarmouth in the opener. Chan Arndt and Dean Darien combined on a five-hitter. Joseph Violette hit a solo home run for Andrews.

In the second game, Adam Gould struck out seven in five innings to get the win. Violette had a double and two runs, and Ben DiBiase and Paley Burtin each had two hits. Sullivan had three hits for OA-Yarmouth.

JUNIOR LEGION

ALL SPORTS PRINTING 6, BRISTOL SEAFOOD 2: George Hazelton struck out seven batters while pitching a five-hitter to lead All Sports Printing (6-9) past Bristol Seafood (8-8) in six innings at Deering.

Taylor Py had two hits and drove in a run for Bristol Seafood.

WINDHAM MERCHANTS 2, BRISTOL SEAFOOD 0: Joe Francoeur struck out four batters and walked two while pitching a one-hitter to lift Windham Merchants (15-1) over Bristol Seafood (8-7) at Deering.

Robbie Hamilton hit an RBI single and later scored during a two-run first inning for Windham. Hamilton finished with two hits.

Bristol starter Nick Payne pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts.

SOUTH PORTLAND 2, FALMOUTH 1: Matthew DiBiase hit an RBI single during a two-run first inning and Jeffrey Hagan and Jacob Cyr-Carter combined to pitch a six-hitter as South Portland held on to win at Falmouth.

Hagan struck out five batters over five innings to earn the win. Cyr-Carter closed out the game with two scoreless innings to pick up the save.

Starter Jeremy Lydick struck out three batters and walked four while pitching a five-hitter for Falmouth (7-8).

BABE RUTH 13s

PORTLAND 7, FALMOUTH 0: Patrick Ball, Nick Carmichael and Sam Lubbert combined on a one-hitter and Joe Apon, Travis Godbout and Dom Fagone each drove in two runs for Portland in a 7-0 win over Falmouth in the Babe Ruth 13 District 4 championship game on Saturday.

Portland was 4-0 in the tournament and will play at Skowhegan in the state tournament Thursday.
