BOWDOINHAM — A woman is recovering from injuries after her motorcycle flipped over Sunday afternoon as she traveled north on Route 24.
Chief Deputy Brett Strout of the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department said the woman, Robin Walsh, flipped her motorcycle after she failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. Sunday.
She suffered some broken bones, Strout said. An ambulance took her to Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick.
The portion of Route 24 where the accident happened is known locally as Bay Road.
Walsh’s age and town of residence weren’t available this morning.
