The State Medical Examiner has scheduled autopsies of the two Saco men found dead at a camp in Piscataquis County for Tuesday.

Andrew Giroux, 49, and Dustin Giroux, 25, were found dead at a camp in Sangerville, near Dover-Foxcroft, Sunday morning. There was nothing that indicated foul play, said a State Police spokesman.

Four other men spent the weekend at the camp for what family members described as “a get-together” prior to Dustin Giroux’s wedding scheduled for Aug. 21.

One of the group saw Andrew Giroux still asleep at 7 a.m., but he was later found dead outside the camp. His son was having breathing difficulties inside and died despite receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The office had other cases scheduled for today and so will perform the autopsies Tuesday morning, said a spokesperson for the office.

Toxicology tests, to determine whether their deaths were related to some toxic substance in their body, typically take about two weeks for results to be returned.
