LEARN ABOUT canning, pickling, freezing and how to make everything from relishes and chutneys to salsas and herbal vinegars at the annual Backyard Locavore Tour presented by the Master Gardeners and Master Food Preservers of Cumberland County.

Eats at feast of St. Rocco

CELEBRATE the Feast of St. Rocco, known for caring for victims of the plague in 14th-century Italy, by chowing down on some homemade Italian food at the annual St. Peter’s Italian Street Festival and Bazaar. Eats will include pizza, meatball-and-sausage sandwiches, Italian cookies and cannoli.

WHEN: 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday; 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday
