Pembroke Prayer cruises to victory in Ricci Memorial
Pembroke Prayer took the early lead and held for the win Saturday in the $50,000 Joseph Ricci Memorial Invitational at Scarborough Downs.
Speed Bomb finished in second place and Hot Shot Blue Chip took third.
Pembroke Prayer’s winning time of 1 minute, 57.3 seconds equaled the all-age/sex track record at Scarborough Downs and marks the 25th career victory for Pembroke Prayer.
Enough Talk, the favorite entering the race, finished in last place.
