ORONO — Two decades after a pair of reclusive brothers from a Maine lobstering family opened up for a night of storytelling for a movie, they’re back, at the University of Maine.

Nearly 20 years ago, Maine Public Broadcasting aired Randy Olson’s intimate portrait of Stonington’s Brian and Stevie Robbins. The film, about an hour long, will be the centerpiece for Olson’s Sept. 21-23 visit to the University of Maine. A crowd of the Robbins’ friends and family plans to attend the Sept. 22 showing, which will be followed by a discussion between Olson and the Robbins brothers.

Olson says it’s still his favorite of all the films he’s made. At the time of the film’s production he was a professor of marine biology at the University of New Hampshire. He later moved to Hollywood, attended the University of Southern California Cinema School and made a series of award-winning films.
