AUGUSTA — Olympic luger Julia Clukey is returning to her former Maine high school in Augusta to motivate student athletes as the new school year approaches.
Clukey will speak to 275 Cony High School student athletes at Cony’s sports information night Thursday.
Twenty-five-year-old Clukey finished 17th in the luge competition at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. Clukey says she plans to compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
