BANGOR — Officials in Bangor are growing more confident they will be able to find the public and private support needed to build a new 7,400-seat arena.
The Bangor Daily News says city councilors are expected to receive soon a final design for the arena from the architect and an estimated cost.
Initial estimates say the arena will cost at least $45 million to $50 million.
If the city also decides to renovate and expand the Bangor Civic Center, it could add another $12 million to $15 million to the cost.
