PORTLAND — A Portland man was arrested earlier today for stabbing another man during a fight that broke out at a party in East Deering.
Portland police said Jeffrey Orne, 23, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after witnesses identified him as the man who stabbed Richard Boyle, 28, of Portland. Boyle was treated at Maine Medical Center and released.
The stabbing took place around 1 a.m. Sunday during a party at 6 Richmond St. in Portland. Orne is being held at the Cumberland County Jail in Portland.
