PORTLAND — Commercial lenders from 25 states are expected to attend a three-day East Coast conference in Portland.
U.S. Small Business Administrator Karen Mills will deliver the keynote address at the conference, which opens today and winds up Wednesday. The conference has a guest list of about 350.
Gov. John Baldacci and other government officials, Tom’s of Maine founder Tom Chappell and Bob Coleman, founder and publisher of Coleman Publishing, are also among those attending.
The America East Lenders’ Conference is co-hosted by the SBA and the Portland Regional Chamber. More than 30 workshops covering a wide range of topics will be offered.
