A Baldwin woman pleaded guilty to manslaughter this morning and was sentenced to 30 months in prison for a fatal car crash last fall.

Roberta Robertshaw, 28, admitted she was high on methadone and anti-anxiety medications when she lost control of her car on the night of Oct. 14, 2009, in Standish.

Robertshaw crossed the center line on Route 25 and struck an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of that car, 76-year-old Gilbert Howard, died two days later.

Justice Joyce Wheeler handed down the sentence today at Cumberland County Superior Court.
