YORK — Stephanie Gallagher headed in a corner kick by Kayla Swasey with 15 minutes left in the first half Tuesday night and York went on to a 1-0 victory against Falmouth in a Western Maine Conference girls’ soccer game.
Carly Lee earned the shutout with six saves for York (8-0). Elizabeth Estabrook had 12 stops for Falmouth (6-2).
GREELY 4, FREEPORT 1: Sammi Toorish scored twice as Greely (5-3) beat the Falcons (5-3-1) at Freeport.
Kelly Burrell and Audrey Parolin also scored for the Rangers, who received 10 saves from Lindsey Arsenault.
Abby Roney finished with five saves and Kelly Edwards scored for Freeport.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2, WELLS 1: Taylor Darnell scored both goals for the Patriots (3-4-1) against Wells (0-7-1) at Gray.
Darnell dribbled down the left side and scored unassisted with 11:51 left in the first half, then made it 2-0 after 14 seconds of the second half on a through pass by Maggie Chapman.
Sophie Lamb scored unassisted for Wells with 3:02 left.
LAKE REGION 4, POLAND 3: Tiana Carter beat two defenders and sent a 25-yard shot into the net with three minutes left in the second overtime for the Lakers (3-6) against the Knights (3-6) at Naples.
Doe Leckie scored two goals and Hannah Perkins had one in the first half as the Lakers built a 3-0 lead.
Poland responded with second-half goals by Emily Bolduc, Jen Powell and Molly Rand.
YARMOUTH 1, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Devin Simsarian scored in the 11th minute to lift visiting Yarmouth (8-0) over the Panthers (1-5-1).
WAYNFLETE 1, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Becky Smith scored on a 22-yard direct kick with less than 15 minutes remaining to lift Waynflete (4-2) over the Seagulls (3-4-1) at Old Orchard Beach.
BRUNSWICK 10, OXFORD HILLS 1: Morgan Libby scored three goals to lead Brunswick (8-0) over Oxford Hills (2-6) at South Paris.
Allie Walton, Lyse Henshaw and Rachel Moroney added two goals each for the Dragons.

CAMDEN HILLS 2, MARANACOOK 1: Alice Flynt scored from Maci Heal with 5:20 remaining to lead Camden Hills (6-3) over Maranacook (2-6) at Rockport.
GORHAM 4, BIDDEFORD 2: Allie Sturgis and Chelsea Black scored two goals apiece as Gorham (4-5) defeated the Tigers (2-6) at Biddeford.
Tiffany Gagne had five saves for Biddeford.
BONNY EAGLE 4, DEERING 0: Natasha Vayda scored three goals and Chelsea Yates had the other as the Scots (5-3) handled the Rams (0-8) at Portland.
KENNEBUNK 3, WINDHAM 0: Cheyenne Knox had a goal and an assist as the Rams (6-2-1) shut out Windham (1-7-1) at Kennebunk.
Molly Centore also scored and Jenn Davis had an assist. Kelsey Livermore needed one save for the shutout.
SOUTH PORTLAND 4, MCAULEY 0: Felicia Farnham had two goals, and Victoria Brookings added a goal and an assist as the Red Riots (4-4) defeated the Lions (3-6) at South Portland.
Jaclyn Salevsky also scored and Michelle Callow had two assists.
WESTBROOK 5, MARSHWOOD 2: Melissa Pettis scored twice to pace the Blue Blazes (7-1) over Marshwood (3-4-1) at Westbrook.
Westbrook scored four goals in the first half: Sarah Howard at 28:10; Olivia Marsden four minutes later; and Pettis twice in the final 11 minutes.
Emily Osborne had two goals for the Hawks in the second half before Sarah Howard added a late goal for Westbrook.
VOLLEYBALL
BIDDEFORD 3, YARMOUTH 0: Kayla Gregoire had nine kills and three aces to lead the Tigers (8-1) to a sweep of the Clippers (3-5) at Yarmouth.
Alyssa Drapeau had five kills and eight assists for the Tigers, who won by scores of 25-22, 25-15 and 25-15.
FALMOUTH 3, GORHAM 0: The Yachtsmen (8-0) used strong serving and attacking to sweep the Rams (4-4) by scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-18 at Gorham.
