SOUTH PORTLAND — The sides for and against a proposed casino in Oxford County will debate the statewide referendum question this week.
The Portland Regional Chamber is sponsoring the debate Wednesday morning in South Portland. The debate will be moderated by Chris Hall of the chamber.

In support of the casino will be Rob Lally of Black Bear Entertainment and Mount Abram Ski Resort, and Michael Chammings, town manager of Oxford.
In opposition will be Dennis Bailey of CasinosNO! and Dan Cashman representing Citizens Against the Oxford Casino.
