Eliot Cutler will make a final campaign swing across Maine by bus.
The independent candidate’s staff is finishing the details and plans to announce the cross-state bus tour today. It will be called the “Jobs and Opportunity Tour” and will begin Friday morning in Madawaska.
Campaign events and rallies are planned along the way in Bangor, Ellsworth, Rockland, Auburn, Saco and other communities over the next four days. Cutler’s bus will travel from the northern to southern tips of the state before heading back to Portland for a final rally in Monument Square Monday evening.
The bus itself is a 29-seat hybrid mini-bus, according to the campaign.
