The people who are against a casino in Maine are people who benefit the most from gambling.
A $20 scratch ticket times 10 is $200. Spending a paycheck on a horse, a football bet, scratch tickets at bingo, Elks clubs, VFW halls, etc., is still gambling and is still a detriment to a family’s income.
Sending our gambling dollars out of state on a bus to Foxwoods makes no sense. Let the people who choose to gamble make their own decisions.
Do not let former Gov.Angus King tell you how to spend your money. King sold the state of Maine out to the highest bidder before. (Remember Plum Creek?) Please do not let him do it again.
