It’s not unusual to see a couple get engaged at a jewelry store, but get married in one?
Tammy Cummings and Ray Hebert were married Sunday at G.M. Pollack & Sons jewelry store on Alfred Street in Biddeford. The couple had purchased their wedding rings at the store and later called to ask if they could get married there.
Many of the store’s staff attended the wedding. Jim Ames, a gemologist at the Maine Mall location who is also a justice of the peace, performed the ceremony.
The wedding was a first for G.M. Pollack & Sons, which has been in business for 55 years.
