THE VILLAGES, Fla. — Former President George W. Bush doesn’t miss much about the White House. But he does miss the pampering.
In a rally today at the sprawling central Florida retirement community known as The Villages, Bush reminisced about the luxuries of America’s highest office, including Air Force One and never waiting in traffic jams.
He says: “I really don’t miss much about the presidency. I miss being pampered.”
Bush says he also misses being commander in chief of the military.
More than 3,000 people turned out to hear him speak as he makes the rounds promoting his new memoir, “Decision Points.”
