Mountain Valley rode its trademark defense to another Class B state football championshp with a 20-0 win over Leavitt today at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

The Falcons (12-0) have captured a state title in every even year since 2004. It was Mountain Valley’s eighth shutout in 12 games.

Leading 14-0 at halftime, the Falcons put the game away on a 66-yard touchown run early in the second half by Taylor Bradley.

The Falcons’ first two touchowns came on a 34-yard pass from quarterback Cam Kaubris to tight end Christian Durland in the first quarter and a 1-yard run by by Kaubris just before the half. Kaubris added a 2-point conversion after the score.
