Arrests

12/2 at 3:15 p.m. Robert Powell, 49, of South Paris, was arrested by Officer Paul Powers on Main Street on a charge of theft.

12/4 at 10:40 p.m. Joanne Fisk, 37, of Lemon Lane, was arrested by Officer Brandon Paxton on Griffin and Wardtown roads on charges of operating under the influence and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

Summonses

12/5 at 12:03 a.m. Nelson E. Darling, 38, of Harpswell, was issued a summons by Sgt. Nathaniel T. Goodman on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

12/5 at 11:06 a.m. Kathleen D. Abernathy, 55, of Pownal, was issued a summons by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on a charge of failure to register vehicle.

Oh deer!

12/5 at 2:38 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer on Griffin Road causing $1,000 worth of damage to the car. The deer died but no one in the vehicle was injured, police report.
