11/30 at 3:05 p.m. Jeffrey Ian Cote, 25, of Foss Road, Saco, was arrested on Gorham Road by Officer Melissa Savage on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

11/30 at 8:11 p.m. Randall K. Garrett, 51, of Brackett Street, Portland, was arrested on County Road by Officer Eric Lippincott on a charge of violating condition of release.

12/2 at 9:34 a.m. Matthew R. Davis, 23, of Spiller Road, Gorham, was arrested on West Beech Ridge Road by Officer Glenn Tucker on charges of burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, criminal mischief, violating condition of release and on a warrant for another agency.

12/2 at 9:34 a.m. Mark W. Posson, 41, of Limington, was arrested on West Beech Ridge Road by Officer Glenn Tucker on charges of burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, criminal mischief and violating condition of release.

12/2 at 1:57 p.m. Co Houng Vo, 32, of Belmont, Mass., was arrested on Cabela Boulevard by Officer Glenn Tucker on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release.

11/29 at 7:30 p.m. A 14-year-old female and a 17-year old male were issued summonses on Barbara Avenue by Officer Timothy Dalton on charges of harassment after a lawful order to cease harassment.

11/30 at 10:20 a.m. A 16-year-old female was issued a summons on Municipal Drive by Det. Francis Plourd on a charge of assault.

11/30 at 10:27 a.m. Carolyn J. Deberry, 31, of Gray, was issued a summons on Fairway Drive by Officer Timothy Dalton on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

12/1 at 10:55 a.m. A 15-year-old female was issued a summons on Municipal Drive by Officer Eric Lippincott on a charge of assault.

12/3 at 9:49 p.m. Jesse L. Reynolds, 29, of West Pleasant Street, Westbrook, was issued a summons on Route 1 by Officer Timothy Dalton on a charge of operating when a license was suspended or revoked.

Vigilant neighbor saves the day

12/2 at 9:34 a.m. Police responded to a call from a neighbor reporting a burglary in progress on West Beech Ridge Road. The caller allegedly saw a man smash a window with an axe and remove items from the home, then get into a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck with another man and drive away. The neighbor reportedly gave police the truck’s license plate number. The alleged thieves were picked up by Saco police on Route 1. A small Brinks safe and the contents of a briefcase, which were taken from the home, were allegedly recovered in the pickup truck. Mark W. Posson, 41, of Limington and Matthew R. Davis, 23, of Gorham, were charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and violation of bail conditions. Posson also had an outstanding warrant from Portland Police for failure to appear in court for a theft charge.
