Basic customer service online training resources for small businesses in Maine are now available for free through a collaboration between the Maine Woods Consortium and the Maine Small Business Development Centers. “Customer Service: Exceeding Customer Expectations,” can be found at www.MaineSBDC.org under “Online Workshops.” Other training options for both employees and management are available. In addition, several libraries in Franklin and Piscataquis counties have DVDs that can be borrowed by businesses. More topics are planned for next year.
