SEBAGO — Secret Santa is back.

The anonymous donor handed out $100 bills to several dozen stunned people at The Warming Hut food pantry in Sebago this morning before heading out to other locations in southern Maine.

The money was handed out by the donor’s representative dressed in the signature red suit and white beard.

“You’re awesome,” said Charles Pettigrow of Sebago.

Secret Santa is a Portland resident and businessman who handed out $10,000 in Portland last year and is doubling the handout to $20,000 this year and adding new stop-offs.

The businessman, who requested he remain anonymous, said he wants to inspire others to give during the Christmas season.
